Assistant Professor of Psychology
Summary of Duties
The Marywood University Department of Psychology/ Counseling seeks an Assistant Professor of Psychology for a full-time tenure track position beginning August, 2014.
Responsibilities include: teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in Social Psychology and some of the following: General Psychology, Senior Seminar, Conflict & Dispute Resolution, Research Methods. Full-time teaching load is 21 credits for the academic year. Successful candidates should provide evidence of effective teaching and be willing to provide service to the department.
The Department of Psychology/Counseling is in the Reap College of Education and Human Development. The Department offers undergraduate, master’s, and school psychology programs, as well as an APA-accredited Psy.D. program in clinical psychology.
Marywood University is a comprehensive Catholic university sponsored by the Congregation of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and located in northeastern Pennsylvania.
Candidates will have a doctoral degree in Social Psychology.
