Nutrition



The Didactic Program in Nutrition and Dietetics is a broad based educational curriculum that includes solid preparation in the liberal arts as well as courses in nutrition and dietetic theory and practice based on the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) foundation knowledge and skills. This educational framework provides the knowledge and skills for successful entry into today's job market and the flexibility to change careers and responsibilities and develop skills needed for future specializations as the job market continues to evolve.

The Didactic Program (DPD) leads to a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. After completing this program, students need to pursue an accredited internship or an approved route to registration to take the National Registration Examination for Dietitians.
