"The opportunity for European travel was amazing. It was so exciting to experience Dublin, London, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Barcelona. On a trip to Italy, I was able to visit Rome and Florence and was thrilled to experience the Biennale Art Festival in Venice firsthand."More Study Abroad testimonials »

Our full campus information sessions/tours are offered twice each weekday: 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Appointments are recommended. Admissions counselors are available after the campus tour for individual meetings. Appointments with a faculty member and financial aid counselor may be available for those planning to enter Marywood in Spring 2016 or Fall 2016.
Our full campus Saturday visits are held every week at 10 a.m. except during holiday weekends and Open House events. Appointments are recommended since there are a maximum number of families scheduled each week.
The Art Department at Marywood University combines art training with a liberal arts education to help students develop their creative voice and vision for a career in art or further graduate study. Students who graduate from our programs go on to work as studio artists, designers, educators, and therapists in museums, galleries, public schools, universities, private practice, and other public and private organizations. Our alumni have secured positions as art teachers, museum directors, art therapists, studio artists, art directors, graphic and web designers, children’s book illustrators, courtroom sketchers, painting instructors, photojournalists, fashion photographers, metal fabricators, jewelers, and furniture designers, to name a few.
