CSD: Students in Action

Community Service

Our CSD students participate in Health Fairs performing speech-language and hearing screenings for members of our community.

Each semester, students also take part in a community service project for Head Start.

Please see below for photos of the other annual events and celebrations that take place in the CSD Department!

Fall Harvest

Each semester the Speech and Hearing Clinic holds a party for the children who attend our clinic and for the community. The fall harvest party is always a big success. All the children come in costume, participate in the games and activities, and scare their way through the "haunted" clinic rooms!

ASHA Conference

The ASHA Convention is the premier annual professional education event for speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and speech, language, and hearing scientists. Bringing together more than 12,000 attendees, the Convention provides unparalleled opportunities to hear the latest evidence-based research and gain new skills and resources to advance your career.

Holiday Party

Food, friends, fun & festivities! Our holiday party takes place in December and is a great way to end the Fall semester.

Spring Party
