We hope to bring a Ray of light, hope and truth to students involved in relationships with the knowledge that we all deserve to be treated with respect and to feel safe!
Our Mission: Raise campus awareness about ingredients to healthy and unhealthy relationships, about dating violence and ways to intervene when signs of partner violence are observed, and about sexual assult.
We all are worthy of being in healthy relationships and looking for help when we find ourselves in unhealthy relationships. As friends, we can play an important role in recognizing red flags (signs of violence) in our friends relationships and saying something.
We are made up of Marywood students, staff, and faculty who care about the health of our college students' intimate relationships. We intend to facilitate monthly educational presentations on topics related to relationship empowerment. We welcome any Marywood student, faculty, or staff interested in joining our taskforce!
If interested in joining our taskforce, please contact us through the Counseling/Student Development Center, McGowan 1017, at 570-348-6245, email@example.com.
