Ulifeline --- an anonymous, confidential, online resource center where college students can be comfortable searching for mental health information. Take a self-evaluation test, learn how to help a friend, and gain self-help information through numerous fact sheets.
MoodGym --- an online cognitive-behavioral interactive web site developed by the Australian National University. It is designed to prevent and decrease symptoms of depression.
Anxieties.com --- a free anxiety self-help site.
Unabridged Student Counseling Virtual Pamphlet Collection --- downloadable pamphlets and information on a wide range of topics, including anger management, eating disorders, study skills, sleep, relationship issues, and grief.
Alcoholics Anonymous --- a self help organization dedicated to providing assistance for those with alcohol abuse issues.
Narcotics Anonymous --- intended for those with other substance abuse issues.
Smart Recovery --- another online resource for addictive behaviors.
Pamphets and written materials concerning mental health and personal growth are available at The Counseling/Student Development Center which is located in the McGowan Center 1017. The Center's office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
