The Athletic Training Program at Marywood University consists of a six-semester didactic and clinical education program and is a stand-alone major housed in the Department of Health and Physical Education.
Students will enter and progress through the program as a cohort. A maximum of 16 students per year are accepted into the program. All applicants must have met the entrance requirements and be accepted/enrolled at Marywood prior to admission into the program.
While progressing through their educational experience, students will have the opportunity to gain invaluable clinical experiences at one of our affiliated sites within the greater Scranton area. These sites include area high schools, intercollegiate athletic teams at Marywood University, Keystone College, Baptist Bible College, Lackawanna College, and the University of Scranton, industrial athletic training settings, sports medicine clinics, and general medical offices.
Congratulations to Janae Boyne for being awarded the NEPA 5K Athletic Training Scholarship in April 2013.
