French Film Festival Headed to Marywood University

The Tournées French Film Festival is bringing films like Gods and Men and Persepolis to campus. The series will begin on November 4 and run through November 18. All screenings are free and open to the public.

As part of our efforts to cultivate interfaith and inter-cultural cooperation on and beyond our campus, the Marywood Interfaith and Community Service Task Force is happy to invite you to a lecture by Professor Abdullah T. Antepli, Duke University, on The Necessity of Interfaith Dialog: A Muslim Perspective. Please join us on Monday, November 7th at 5:30 p.m. in the Latour Room, Nazareth Hall. This lecture is free and open to the public Refreshments will be served.

ALLY Training (November 18)

On Friday, November 18, 2011, there will be an ALLY Training. An Ally is one who will be understanding, supportive, and trustworthy if a gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender person needs help advice, or just someone with whom they can talk. **Training begins at 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. Friday, in the Swartz Center Conference Room A (McGowan Room), Marywood University.
