Fri, May 08, 2009Marywood University will celebrate its 91st annual commencement with the awarding of 881 degrees to graduates from the Reap College of Education and Human Development, Insalaco College of Creative Arts and Management, College of Health and Human Services, and College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 10 at 1 p.m. at the Wachovia Arena, Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre.
Tue, May 05, 2009Marywood University Chamber Singers, under the direction of Rick Hoffenberg, Director of Choral Music, will embark on a musical tour for the first time in two years. The concert program will include Renaissance works by Byrd, Monte, Tallis, and Monteverdi; contemporary pieces by Copland, Poulenc, Martin, and Duruflé; and vocal jazz selections. Please join the singers at one of the various venues. All concerts are free and open to the public.
