Tue, December 07, 2010Big Friends Little Friends is looking for new mentors for the spring semester. This program is a 2 day per week after school program for students grades K-5 who live at Valley View Apartments. Come help students with their homework, play games, do crafts and have a snack. We have a dedicated group of Marywood mentors that need some more helping hands. We will go Mondays or Wednesdays 2:30pm-5:30pm, Transportation is provided. Tue, December 07, 2010Campus Ministry is collecting candy and snacks to send to soldiers overseas for the holidays. There will be boxes set-up in the First Stop Cafe, Regina Hall, the Main Dining Room, Nazareth Hall and in the Atrium, Madonnna Hall. As the semester comes to an end, we all have extra pacer points and meals which can be used towards your donation of: candy bars, cereals, granola bars, gums/mints, and other non-perishable snacks. Wed, December 01, 2010Marywood University's Art Department presents the Masters Exhibition by two Master of Arts in Art Education students, Kimberly Borsuk and Jennifer Piconi. The exhibit opens with a reception on Saturday, Decemeber 5 from 5 - 7 p.m. It will be displayed through December 17, in the Suraci Gallery, Shields Center for Visual Arts.
