Marywood to Host Creativity Conference

The 2nd annual "Stretch: The Creativity Conference" will be held on Friday, March 15, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., in the Latour Room, Nazareth Student Center.

Craig Welsh, Mark Schulz, and John Kascht will present on various art-related topics including: advertising, design, comics, and books. Christine Medley, assistant professor of art, says that attending the conference is a good opportunity for students, professionals and the public to learn more about creativity in the context of design.

"It's very inspiring to hear these stories," Ms. Medley says. "These speakers—Craig, Mark and John—have accomplished a lot, and attendees will have the opportunity to interact and engage with them."

Those who are interested should make reservations by Monday, March 11.
