The Educational Administration Specialization is designed for those pursuing a position of leadership in K-12 school systems and similar academic institutions. It incorporates the regulations of the Pennsylvania Department of Education for the post-master's Letter of Eligibility for School Superintendents.
The Higher Education Administration Specialization is recommended for those pursuing a position of leadership in higher education institutions. It is particularly useful for those who plan to serve as faculty members or administrators at a college or university.
The Instructional Leadership Specialization is designed for those pursuing careers as faculty members in teacher and adult training programs at the college level. It also prepares individuals to direct corporate training and professional development programs. The Instructonal Leadership Specialization incorporates the requirements of the Pennsylvania Department of Education's post-master's Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction Certification.
The Health Promotion Specialization is recommended for those interested in administration, consultation, and evaluative research in health care and health promotion environments.
The Social Work Specialization is useful for anyone within the broad scope of social work practice, including human services, administration, policy and program development, and higher education in a school of social work.
