Psychology & Counseling: M.A. Psychology

M.A. Psychology

There are two concentrations within the M.A. Psychology Program. No matter what the focus, students who study psychology possess a great deal of information that can be transferred to the world of work, making psychology majors some of the most sought-after prospects by employment recruiters.

General/Theoretical Psychology

A 45 credit program for students who wish to develop a broad-based understanding of psychology for varied purposes (not necessarily involving clinical applications).

Clinical Services

A 48 credit program for students who wish to function in a mental health agency or other human services setting where the psychologist provides a range of consultative, assessment, and therapeutic functions.
