Dr. Antoniacci spent time with Moosic brownie/junior troop 50842 to talk to them about the importance of women in science. The girls also performed a fun science experiment! Maybe they will become future Marywood students and scientists in the years to come.

Alumni Alert: Congrats to Ken Bedi (biotechnology graduate) on receiving a top 10% honor from the American Heart Association for his publication in the journal Circulation. Ken was the primary author on the article "Evidence for Intramyocardial Disruption of Lipid Metabolism and Increased Myocardial Ketone Utilization in Advanced Human Heart Failure" Ken holds a position at the University of Pennsylvania in the division of cardiovascular integrated genomics and translational science. Congrats Ken!
