Marywood's Ph.D. Program in Human Development takes an interdisciplinary approach to understanding human development, while still allowing for in-depth study in one of five specializations, including social work.
The Social Work Specialization prepares students to assume a variety of roles in social work education and leadership in social work practice. A Master of Social Work (MSW) degree is required for admission into the social work specialization of the Ph.D. Program.
