Marywood University's Office of Military and Veterans Services and Student Veteran Alliance "Flags for the Fallen" campaign took place on Veterans Day 2012. Over 6,600 flags were placed in the ground to represent the lives of military men and woman who sacrficed their lives for our freedom.

Marywood University's director of military and veterans services is also the NASPA Region II Veteran Knowledge Community Representative. Lauren Williams recently submitted a blog entitled, "What it Really Means to be Military Supportive". NASPA is an organization that represents student affairs representatives in higher education.
