In preparation for its centennial in 2015, Marywood is seeking a seasoned professional with a high level of commitment, enthusiasm, and a passion for higher education who is interested in joining a talented, donor-centered advancement team.
The Major Gifts Officer will:
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred.
Effectively function in a team environment. Five to seven years experience (with demonstrated financial results) in major or planned gift solicitation, preferably in higher education. Working knowledge of a donor database system and tax laws that impact charitable giving, personal assets, and estates. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, research, management, and communication skills with a strong customer-service approach. Travel as assigned.
