About me: I joined Marywood University in November 2013. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. I have been involved in U.S. higher education for seven years. I have worked for the largest Fulbright Commission in the world in Islamabad, Hult International Business School in Dubai, and Rochester Institute of Technology in Dubai.
As an international student in the U.S., I attended a large-size university with over 30,000 students, a community college, and a medium-size university with 8,000 students.
My interests: I enjoy learning about different cultures of the world. I love spending time with my family and friends. Cooking is also an interest of mine and events with new cuisines always attract me.
My favorite thing about Marywood: The welcoming and friendly community is my most favorite thing about Marywood.
My favorite place on campus: The Admissions office is my favorite place on campus because it opens into the beautiful Rotunda.
You’d never guess: I worked in real estate for a few months. I can fly remote controlled methanol engine airplanes and could cook a caramel egg pudding when I was 9!
My best advice: Never select a university based on rankings or its name. There are over 4,000 accredited universities and colleges in the United States and chances are you have not heard of over 90% of them. Always look for a program or department that best fits your needs. Seek advice from educational counselors.
