Are you interested in studying the way physical activity changes your body?

The Exercise Science program is designed for students who are passionate about health and fitness and want to pursue careers such as personal trainers, strength and conditioning coaches, exercise physiologists, health/fitness instructors, and more. Hands-on experiences occur both in and outside of class, including a yearlong internship that offers students practical experience for their future career and preparation for graduate and post-graduate study in fields like physical therapy, occupational therapy, and other health and wellness areas. Students gain expertise in acute and chronic changes to the body with exercise, requiring coursework in anatomy, physiology, chemistry, microbiology, exercise science, nutrition, research methods, disease prevention, and exercise testing and prescription.
