Internships & Job Placement
Significant practical experience is part of the major requirement for the completion of the B.B.A. in Hospitality Management. The internship experience is in line with the criteria set by the Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education (C.H.R.I.E.). Internships can be done in local, regional, national and international hotels and restaurants. Upon completion of the program students have been offered positions with the hotels and restaurants where they did their internships. It is predicted that the demand for graduates will grow as there will be 69,000 more managerial jobs in the sector in 2017 than in 2007 (People 1st State of the Nation Report 2009 – People 1st Hospitality, Leisure, Travel and Tourism).
