The Marywood Opera Workshop will present its culminating performance at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 11th, on the stage of the Sette LaVerghetta Center Auditorium. Short excerpts from twelve operas will feature some of Marywood's most talented singers, as well as Marywood faculty and alumni. The selection of opera scenes, by composers such as Handel, Mozart, Rossini, Verdi, Bizet, Britten, and Strauss, runs the gamut from dramatic to utterly silly. If you have never seen an opera before, this is the perfect chance to expose yourself to this wonderful art form! Admission is free for everyone. Posted by rhoffenberg@marywood.edu.
