SOME Volunteer Corps - Serve A Year. Make An Impact.
SOME (So Others Might Eat) Volunteer Corps is a year-long, full time, residential program in Washington, D.C. for individuals looking to make a significant social justice impact in the lives of those who are homeless, poor or marginalized. Volunteers are involved in nearly all aspects of SOME's programs, including housing for families or single adults, job training, addiction programs, elderly services, food distribution or our medical and dental clinics. The type of service assignment depends upon the needs of SOME, along with the match of gifts, ability and flexibility of the volunteer. Benefits include room and board, health coverage, paid stipend, and work experience.

Includes stipend, health insurance, mentorship, professional and spiritual development. To be a NETWORK Associate, you don't need a political science degree, you don't have to be Catholic, and you don't have to be fresh out of college. You do need the passion for the work of social justice advocacy.
