Teachers Needed for Summer Religious Formation Program
- Who: Saint John the Evangelist Parish, Pittston, PA
- What: Teach grades 1,3,4,5 and 6
- When: Two weeks in either June or July, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - noon
- Where: Msgr. John J. Bendik Pastoral Center, (formerly Seton Catholic High School), Church Street, Pittston, PA
- Why: To reach those children who, for one reason or another, cannot attend regularly scheduled classes during the school year.

Big Friends/Little Friends - Volunteer OpportunityBig Friends/Little Friends is an after-school program at Valley View Housing Development. Children need mentors to help them with their homework and plan fun activities. Volunteers are needed on Mondays and/or Thursdays, 2:30-4:40 p.m., especially Thursdays! Transportation is provided.
