Marywood University joins in the national effort in providing its "Release the Light" Sexual Assault Awareness Program. October is designated as National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and communities and colleges across the nation will be joining together against crimes of sexual abuse. The purpose is to increase student and community awareness for the need of violence prevention and reducing incidents of sexual assault on college campuses and in the community.
