Enrollment Services Technical Specialist (#979)

Hours:

  • Full-time schedule, 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
  • 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday
  • 1 hour lunch period

Summary of Duties

The Enrollment Services Technical Specialist reports directly to the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Success and supports all departments under the are of the Vice President. This role manages the critical technical processes for key Admissions and Financial Aid software applications, ensures data integrity in related databases, accurately reports on stored data, manages system testing and upgrades, and leads technical improvements within the Enrollment Management Division. 



Requirements

  • Educational:

    • Bachelor's Degree                                                                                             

  • Work Experience Requirements:

    • Experience in higher education, preferably in Enrollment Management
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications, especially a strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel 
    • Experience with CRM software (Slate preferred) and Business Intelligence software (SAP Business Objects preferred)
    • Experience with Student Information Systems (Ellucian Colleague preferred)

  • Special Qualifications:

    • Ability to work independently with minimal direction, and to collaborate effectively as part of a team
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete projects in a timely manner
    • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Essential Elements:

    • Manage data reporting for the Enrollment Management Division and other constituents
    • Manage the import process of various external data sources into defined databases
    • Provide technical support to the Admissions team with Slate related functions (Forms, Applications, Events, Rules, Deliver)
    • Function as the primary Information Technology liaison
    • Assist IT with mapping information transferred between enterprise systems
    • Assist Admissions and Financial Aid with low-level technical support (software and hardware)
    • Identify areas within the Enrollment Management Division where technology can be enhanced, and advise on solutions
    • Test and support any system or software upgrades
    • Oversee data integrity of related databases
    • Manage security roles within related software
    • Other duties as assigned
