Full-Time Instructor

Summary of Duties

The Marywood University School of Business & Global Innovation seeks an Instructor for a full-time, renewable yearly appointment starting in the Fall 2018 semester.

The School of Business & Global Innovation offers undergraduate degrees in multiple Business areas, including Management (with possible tracks in Entrepreneurship, Hospitality Management, and Health Services Administration), and graduate degrees in Business Administration, Management and Financial Information Systems, and Health Services Administration. The School of Business & Global Innovation is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

The successful candidate will teach 24 credits hour per year at the graduate and/or undergraduate levels, advise students, engage in scholarship, and participate in service to the university. The ability to teach undergraduate and graduate classes in both traditional and online settings is expected. 


  • Educational:

    Required Qualifications: Qualified candidates will possess a Ph.D. or related terminal degree (ABD considered) in Management or related business administration area.  Preferred Qualifications: Additional consideration will be given to candidates with specialized experience in the area of Management Information Systems or a related area, or with a minimum of 15 graduate credits in this area of specialization, and with teaching experience.
