Purchasing Assistant (#499)
35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
8:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m
Summary of Duties
Inspect purchase requisitions, petty cash requisitions and OfficeDepot orders for accuracy. Enter purchase requisitions into system/issue purchase orders, match invoices with purchase orders for payment. Release OfficeDepot orders from
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Work Experience Requirements:
General office skills, preferably 2-3 years of related experience required
Familiar with Pc, PC business software (Ellucian Colleague), and calculator
Be able to operate a computer keyboard, calculator, and computer printer in order to issue purchase orders and print other documentation.
Assist other office staff as needed, respond to requests for information from other Marywood Departments and Vendors.
Sitting 75%; filing and retrieving files 20%; walking between offices and buildings for meetings, etc. 5%; ability to lift binders, boxes, or stacks of paper reports and small office equipment, generally not more than 25 pounds; stooping, bending to retrieve files, etc.
