Instructor of Environmental Science (Per annum) (#718)

Summary of Duties

The Department of Science, Mathematics, and Computer Science at Marywood University invites applications for a per annum Instructor of Environmental Science appointment beginning in August 2020.  


  • Educational:

    Qualified candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Environmental Science or a related discipline and have teaching experience at an undergraduate institution. 

  • Work Experience Requirements:

    The ability to teach hands-on labs in Ecology and Physical Science, including field experience, is preferred. 

  • Essential Elements:

    The Department offers a B.S. in Environmental Science degree as well as supports non-science majors with electives in both Environmental Science and Physical Science. 

    Responsibilities include:

      • Teaching a broad range of undergraduate courses in Environmental Science (with lab) and Physical Science (with lab), as well as General Biology on an as-needed basis.
