Full-time, tenure-track -Assistant Professor of Nutrition (#88)
Summary of Duties
The Department of Nutrition, Athletic Training & Exercise Science at Marywood University is seeking a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track professor in Nutrition at the Assistant Professor level for Fall 2019. Our Department is part of the College of Health & Human Services and houses several accredited and non-accredited undergraduate programs in Nutrition, Athletic Training and Exercise Science. On the graduate level, we offer several MS degree options, as well as to Dietetic Internships (one on-site, and one on-line). Our Department contains a Human Performance Laboratory, a Culinary Laboratory, and active learning classrooms.
Responsibilities will include teaching and advising Nutrition and Athletic Training/Exercise Science students (both undergraduate and graduate), commitment to scholarly activity, and service at the university, professional and community levels.
Required: Possess an earned Doctorate in Nutrition, or a closely-related field. The Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential is required.
Preferred: ABD candidates are encouraged to apply, and doctorate degree is preferred. Also preferred are candidates with university teaching experience and those with experience teaching in an online environment.
