Summary of Duties
Works closely with faculty attaining appropriate enrollment targets, retention, and implementing ongoing strategies to maintain quantitative and qualitative standards. Researches and compiles data for all pertinent annual Higher Education Arts Data Services reports. Compiles documentation for Self Study Reports. Keeps track of budget expenses. Compiles and maintains master schedules. Schedules classrooms. Schedules gallery usage. Maintains departmental budget. Handles all purchase requests and purchase orders. Assists with student and parent concerns. Maintains all student and faculty files. Processes FARS; processes Faculty Development requests. Helps in the ongoing development of curriculum and curriculum sequence sheets. Works closely with various offices on campus to maintain NASAD standards. Coordinates student assessment processes. Delegates work to the department secretary and work studies. In charge of hiring work studies, lab techs and models. Responsible for all adjunct and seasonal contracts. Maintains time sheets for all seasonal employees and grad assistants. Assists with all Open Houses, Orientation Days and Admitted Student Days. Assists with graduation and Hooding. Coordinates incoming Freshman scheduling. Is aware of laws and regulations regarding student privacy. Answers incoming multi line phones. Additional duties as required.
High School Diploma required, College preferred.
Work Experience Requirements:
3-5 years office experience/Art Administration preferred.
Computer proficiency on Macintosh and the PC programs, as needed, including MicroSoft Excel and Word.
