Tenure Track Associate Professor (#88)

Summary of Duties

The Department of Nutrition, Athletic Training & Exercise Science at Marywood University is seeking a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track professor at the Assistant or Associate level for Fall 2020.  Our Department is part of the College of Health & Human Services and houses several accredited and non-accredited undergraduate programs in Nutrition, Athletic Training and Exercise Science.  On the graduate level, we offer several MS degree options, as well as a Dietetic Internship.  Our Department contains a Human Performance Laboratory, a Culinary Laboratory, and active learning classrooms.



Requirements

  • Educational:

    Qualified candidates should possess an earned Doctorate in Nutrition, or a closely-related field.  Individuals who anticipate completing their degree by May 2020 are also encouraged to apply.

  • Work Experience Requirements:

    Previous University teaching experience and the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential is preferred.

  • Essential Elements:

    Responsibilities will include: Teaching courses in areas such as community nutrition, clinical nutrition, food systems and management on the undergraduate and graduate levels; advising Nutrition students (both undergraduate and graduate); commitment to scholarly activity; and service at the university, professional and community levels.

  • Other Elements:
