10 - 12 hours per week

Evenings, Monday through Friday, Two consecutive hours

Description of Duties

The Broadcast Operations division of the Communication, Language & Literature Department is responsible for assisting students with video/audio productions, coordinating room usage, and distributing various electronic and field production equipment for use by our Multimedia Communication program students.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform office support tasks, such as, reserving audio and video production suites; reserving, testing, charging, and distributing electronic field production equipment; cleaning and sanitizing electronic field production equipment; cleaning and sanitizing other areas of the Center for Multimedia Communication facilities. This position will also involve running errands for the Coordinator of Broadcast operations and assisting the Coordinator with any related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to multitask and independently prioritize work. Excellent organizational skills, reliability, and attention to detail. This position requires a video and audio background; applicants must know how to operate electronic field production equipment. Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Word and Excel preferred.
