English Department: After Graduation

A Foundation for Success

Graduates of Marywood's English Department are leaders in their communities. They promote the arts, run their own businesses, and work as volunteers in service to others. Many teach English in high schools and colleges, passing on their passion for language and literature to the next generation of writers, teachers, and business people.

One in three graduates attends graduate school after earning an undergraduate degree at Marywood. Our graduates attend some of the best research institutions in the nation, and many enter graduate programs with an assistantship or fellowship.
