TRANSITION TO DATATEL COLLEAGUE
We are pleased to announce that Marywood University is transitioning to a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system - Datatel Colleague. Fiscal Affairs, OIT personnel and other Departments across our Campus have been working diligently to make this transition as comprehensive and painless as possible.
The Colleague platform will provide the University with the tools to more accurately and efficiently serve the needs of all our constituents. The goals and objectives of the implementation are:
- To improve services to internal and external users
- To provide students, faculty, and staff with direct access to accurate, reliable, and timely data
- To investigate and improve all processes affected by the Datatel project.
- To meet state and federal reporting requirements
- To enhance decision-making and planning capabilities
On the left of this page, you will find several links that we hope will assist you in this transition and as you add new personnel to your offices.
We would like to ask your patience when submitting requests to the Fiscal Affairs, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Budgets, and Grants areas of our division as we "go live" July 1, 2010. As always, our staff is here to answer any questions that you may have regarding this transition. Rest assured that as our Legacy system has served us well, so will the Datatel Colleague platform. It is our intention to use Colleague to its fullest extent to bring you -the users- the best, most up-to-date information that you need to continue to make Marywood University a leader in Education.
