The Foreign Languages Department is hosting its annual Immersion Day Thursday, October 24 from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. On this day between 60-80 area high school students will come to campus to enjoy a day of Spanish or French activities and games, all of which are prepared and presented by our foreign language majors and minors. The students also have the opportunity to explore how to combine their foreign language skills with different majors, such as International Business or other helping service professions. This also gives the students the opportunity to see the campus and what Marywood University has to offer them.
Buses will depart from the Naz student parking lot at 7:30 am on Sunday, October 6th. We will visit the Brooklyn Museum to see the exhibit "Behind Closed Doors: Art in the Spanish American Home," and then travel to Ground Zero. Buses will leave NYC to return back to Marywood at 7pm.
Sister Anne Munley, IHM, Ph.D., President of Marywood University, presents the prestigious CASE Award to Dr. Ann Cerminaro-Costanzi on September 19th, 2013 during Fall Convocation. This annual award recognizes excellence in teaching.
