The Fulbright Program awards approximately 8,000 grants annually. 2014 Alternative Spring Break Service Trip to Duran, Ecuador

Twelve Marywood students and two faculty members will leave March 1st for an alternative service break trip to Durán, Ecuador. Students will participate in various service activities, including teaching children English and interacting with the community.

Annual Summer Barbecue!

The Department hosted its Annual Summer Barbecue for new and returning Foreign Language majors and minors Saturday, August 24, 2013.

Sister Anne Munley, IHM, Ph.D., President of Marywood University, presents the prestigious CASE Award to Dr. Ann Cerminaro-Costanzi on September 19th, 2013 during Fall Convocation. This annual award recognizes excellence in teaching.

Dr. Ann Cerminaro-Costanzi was named Marywood's CASE Professor of 2013!



We visited the Brooklyn Museum and saw the exhibit "Behind Closed Doors: Art in the Spanish American Home," and then traveled to Ground Zero. The day ended with dinner at a Cuban restaurant where we enjoyed "ropa vieja" among other specialties.
