President Obama is a firm believer in the power of interfaith cooperation and community service – “interfaith service” for short – to build understanding between different communities and contribute to the common good. Through the President's Interfaith and Community Service Campus Challenge, the White House is encouraging colleges and universities to make President Obama's vision of interfaith service a reality on campuses across the country.
Interfaith service is about people from different religious and non-religious backgrounds tackling specific community challenges – from homelessness to mentoring to the environment – together. And Maryood is proud to be a part of this transformational movement.
