On October 18, 2013, Marywood University broke ground for the Learning Commons, signifying the first phase that will bring the Commons from concept to reality by September 8, 2015. Students, alumni, friends, staff, trustees, and government officials gathered at the future site of the Learning Commons to celebrate.
