Maxis-Gillet Service Award - Applications due by 4:30 on April 8

Maxis-Gillet Service Award Marywood University is rooted in a long-standing tradition of service to local, national and international communities, and extends its commitment to community involvement through the “Maxis-Gillet Service Award.” Award details: * A total of twenty $2500.00 Service Awards are offered annually to current undergraduate Marywood students * Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to service during their time at MU Requirements for recipients: * To uphold the expectations of the Service Award, recipients complete a minimum of 215 hours of service during the academic year * Participation in leadership development sessions and group meetings * First-year recipients participate in mentorship program If you believe that the Maxis-Gillet Service Award is compatible with your background and future goals, please visit Marywood University’s Campus Ministry site for more information and to access the application and recommendation forms. Applications and recommendations are due by 4:30pm on April 8th (Interviews will be held the following week, with decisions to be made by April 20th)

Wheelchair Basketball Game to Benefit St. Joseph's Center

Marywood will host the fourth annual Wheelchair Basketball Game on Saturday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m., in the University's Robert J. Mellow Center. All proceeds benefit St. Joseph's Center in Scranton.

"A Musical Collage" Benefit Concert - March 27

Marywood University's Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance present their annual benefit concert, A Musical Collage, on Sunday, March 27, at 4 p.m. in the Sette LaVerghetta Center for Performing Arts Auditorium.

American Red Cross Blood Drive

The American Red Cross and Campus Ministry will hold a blood drive on Monday, April 18 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Latour Conference Room, Nazareth Student Center.
