Pennsylvania Psychological Association Names New President

David Palmiter, Ph.D., full professor of psychology at Marywood University, was recently named president of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association. Dr. Palmiter, who has taught at Marywood University since 1998, is the author of a book on parenting and countless related articles.
The Pennsylvania Psychological Association is the second largest state psychological association in the country at around 3,000 members. The association has existed for more than 75 years and has 29 committees, two task forces and a seven-member staff.
Dr. Palmiter is the first resident of Lackawanna County to hold this position.
