Marywood Celebrates Women's History Month
In celebration of Women's History Month, Marywood is presenting a two-part program that focuses on selected topics related to the history of women in the United States.
Wednesday, March 20
4:30–5:30pm, Learning Resources Center, Room 160
A panel on "Perspectives on Gender," featuring Sr. Gail Cabral (discussing gender stereotypes), Dr. Gale Jaeger (pay inequality), Ms. Carolyn Bonacci (women in higher education), and Dr. Laurie McMillian (women in pop culture). A Q&A will follow.
Monday, March 25
7–8pm, Learning Resources Center, Room 160
A presentation of the film Females in Film, followed by comments and discussion with Dr. Brooke Cannon.
Each session is open to all students, faculty, staff and guests. Also, free refreshments will be served at each session.
