The Interdisciplinary Ph.D Program in Human Development office is pleased to announce a new endowment fund through the generous support of Drs. Joan and Fred Miller. Dr. Joan Miller is an alumna of the Ph.D. Program and is a retired Professor of Nursing from Bloomsburg University. This funding opportunity can be used to assist matriculating full-time and part-time doctoral students with financial support to purchase textbooks, materials needed for coursework, research, dissertation credits, etc. An invitation to apply each academic year is sent to students during the fall semester. The criteria for selecting award recipients is based on financial need, excellent academic standing, continuous enrollment, and the student's research goals. Deadline to apply is mid-January each year.
