Citi mandatory online training

All investigators, advisors and members of the research team must complete online training through CITI. See our Mandatory Training Policy for details.

Classroom training

The Director of Human Participants Protection and Research Compliance is available to present to your class on human research ethics, submission procedures and/or use of IRBNet. Please contact cloftus@marywood.edu to schedule a presentation based on your needs.

IRBNet tutorial videos

We offer IRBNet Tutorial Videos, which have been customized for Marywood University. The brief videos last anywhere from one to four minutes and instruct on specific tasks (how to register for an account, create a new project, sign the package, submit the package, submit modifications or reports, etc.). They also coordinate with sections of our written IRBNet Instructions for Researchers document.  Please contact irbhelp@marywood.edu or call 570-348-6211, x. 2418 for the password to access the videos.

IRBNet training workshops

Visit the IRB's homepage for announcements about any upcoming workshops. The announcements appear on the right side of the page. IRBNet workshops will also be announced on faculty and student email list-serves and communicated to faculty teaching research courses.

Track changes written instructions, tutorial video and workshops (User Support Services)

As the IRB and ERC require that any modifications requested are tracked, we offer both written instructions and a Tutorial Video about how to apply tracking in Microsoft Word. Please contact irbhelp@marywood.edu or call 570-348-6211, x. 2418 for the video's password.

Alternatively, you may contact the Help Desk (User Support Serviced in OIT) to inquire about tracking workshops or to arrange one-on-one training.

Please note that if your personal computer does not have a full version of Microsoft Word with the tracking feature, all computer labs on campus are equipped with full versions of the program and allow tracking to be enabled.
