Retention & Advising

Our office works closely with students who are struggling academically and provides individual academic counseling and workshops to assist students in being successful here at Marywood.

Tutoring Services

Free peer tutoring is available to students who need extra help staying on top of their class work. We offer individual and group tutoring, along with drop-in tutoring centers for math, science, and writing.

Writing Center

We provide peer and professional writing assistance for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students. You can stop in at the writing center or make an appointment with a professional writing tutor. We also offer workshops on APA and MLA formatting.

Students with Disabilities

Marywood provides reasonable accommodations for students with documented disabilities, including extended time and distraction-free environments for exams, note-taking services, and accessible classrooms and housing.

Career Development Center

The Career Development Center helps students with self-exploration and assessment to determine or confirm a major and to acquire vocational and career information.  In addition, we help students research and apply to graduate schools and employment opportunities including skill development on interviewing, cover letter and resume preparation, and internship/job search.

Military and Veteran Services

The Office of Military and Veteran Services is here to help with the unique educational needs of our Veteran, current Military and dependent students at Marywood University.  We provide support for accessing and using educational benefits, the transition from service to scholar, and help our students maximize both their military experience and education at Marywood when entering the civilian workforce.
