Marywood Welcomes Veterans!

We are pleased to assist you in making a smooth transition from military life to that of a student. We are dedicated to providing you with the tools and services you need to succeed at Marywood University and prepare you to Lead On. Open House Sign Up Form

When: Marywood University will be holding an open house for future students on Saturday, April 27th.

Where: Nazareth Student Center

Session will include information about military/veteran education benefits with the Office of Military and Veteran Services along with conversations with current student veterans, representatives of academic departments, admissions counselors, financial aid, and members of campus clubs & organizations. Campus tours led by student veterans. Complimentary continental breakfast and buffet lunch for all guests.

Marywood University's director of military and veterans services is also the NASPA Region II Veteran Knowledge Community Representative. Lauren Williams recently submitted a blog entitled, "What it Really Means to be Military Supportive". NASPA is an organization that represents student affairs representatives in higher education.

Marywood Opens Veterans Affairs Office


Marywood University took part in the Veterans Employment Networking Symposium hosted by Army Community Service (ACS) at Tobyhanna Army Depot on Tuesday, May 22, 2012.

Lauren Williams, Director of Military and Veteran Services spoke to reporters about the difficulty for veterans and their families looking to find civilian employment when seperating from service.
