Let us bring wellness to you!

Members of the Marywood faculty and staff are available for a variety of wellness sessions that can be held in your department. Dates and times can be arranged for your convenience of your staff.

Metabolic Syndrome: What It Is and Why It Matters

Are you concerned about your cholesterol? Has your doctor talked to you about your blood pressure? Do you wish you could lose those extra pounds and increase your exercise routine? Do you feel really sluggish mid-afternoon and don't know why? Do you know how much sugar you ingest and how that really affects your body?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should plan to attend this informative panel discussion on metabolic syndrome, sometimes called the disease of lifestyle. Join Ms. Kathy Uhranowsky, Mr. Jeff Jones, Dr. Angie Hillman, and Ms. Jill Troiano to learn about changes you can make that can have positive impacts on your health.
