Increase Your Earning Potential with Gerontology Certification

Marywood's Gerontology Certification program is a post-baccalaureate certificate offering that provides health care professionals with vital leadership skills and promotes the uniqueness and dignity of the geriatric community and the role they play within our community.

The increasing older population mandates the need for additional health care professionals with expertise in the field of gerontology. Current job markets have increasing availability for positions in the field of gerontology, so the addition of this certificate boosts the portfolio of health and behavioral care professionals. Marywood is currently the only regional provider of a gerontology certification program.

  • Only regional provider of a gerontology certification program
  • Boost your portfolio with a focus on elder care issues
  • Easy to add to your current master's program of study
  • Convenient, on-site opportunity for service learning at Marywood Heights, a university-based retirement community
