Sharing the Gift of Music

Music nourishes the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Marywood’s National Association for Music Education chapter (NAfME-c) works to ensure that students in grades 6-12 can enjoy large ensemble experiences, have the opportunity to work with first-rate clinicians, and get the chance to interact with other music students from around the region.
Fresh-brewed Faith Stories
Agape Latte/Campus Ministry (Featured Student: Brien McChesney)
Agape Latte combines coffee, faith/life conversations, and a comfortable environment to ask questions. This student-driven model has expanded from Boston College to colleges across the country, including Marywood University, and reflects the core value of Catholic Identity. Next event: Sunday, November 18, 1-3 p.m., Fireplace Lounge, Nazareth Student Center
Giving Thanks and Helping Our Neighbors in Need
The Marywood Campus Community (Featured Participants: Mary Roche and Karen Rossmell)
While many of us look forward to the Thanksgiving feast that we enjoy each year with family and friends, not everyone has the means to do so. That’s where Marywood’s Thanksgiving Adopt-A-Family program steps in, as students, faculty, and staff unite their efforts to assist local families in need.
Designs Drive Awareness
Graphic Design Students and Faculty
Marywood graphic design students, under the guidance of art faculty, created projects that drive home some important messages. Their design work supports local efforts by PennDOT to spread the word about transportation safety issues.
Campus Traditions Unite Students
Student Activities and Leadership Development
Each semester, students of all backgrounds look forward to sharing campus traditions that celebrate unity, friendship, and shared values.
