Camp Fee: $150
This camp is designed to attract high school students interested in pursuing degrees in biology, biotechnology, and medical fields. Students will be exposed to a variety of different techniques related to DNA and proteins to gain an understanding of the structure and function of the molecules. In addition, students will gain knowledge of applications used in medicine and in the biotechnology industry regarding how DNA and proteins can be used to diagnose and treat disease.

Learn digital photography basics using your smartphone camera or digital SLR and Adobe Photoshop. Students will explore digital photography techniques, including shooting modes, aperture, shutter speeds, ISO, white balance, and composition. Projects include portraits, editorial, fine art, image editing techniques, photo composition, and more.

Camp Fee: $2,310 for the camp, including housing.
Design Your Future is a two-week overnight program. Designed for rising high school juniors, seniors, and recent high school graduates, the DYF camp offers students a significant first experience in architectural and interiors education. This two-week overnight program will help students engage in the process of design and develop the basic tools of imagination and expression.

The Academy is an exciting, week-long band, orchestra, choral, and theater day camp for students grades 7-12, held at The Sette-LaVerghetta Center for the Performing Arts. Students will engage with exceptional faculty, artists, and other student musicians from our region in classes, rehearsals, sectionals, and performances throughout the experience.

This camp is offered free to participants. Registration is limited. The Marywood Healthcare Discovery Summer Camp is made possible in part through a charitable donation.
Introduction to Encryption: How to Encode Secret Messages
August 1 - 4

Camp Fee: $75
Algorithms for encrypting and decrypting messages have been used since the time of Julius Caesar, who used them to transmit secrets during the Gallic Wars. Since that time, not only the military, but any person or organization that conducts financial business over insecure communication lines needs to employ complex encryption techniques. This camp will introduce students to cryptology, the study of encryption and decryption techniques that are in common use today. Cryptology is used by specialists in Information Security, a highly lucrative and fulfilling, in-demand career. Students will leave this camp with their own program to write their own secret messages

Girls Volleyball Instructional Camp

Camp Fee: $150 for 3 days (Early bird special of $130 if paid 30 days prior to start of camp.)

This will be a three-day camp offered to girls in 9th grade to 12th grade. Campers will be divided into 2 groups (9th-10th and 11th-12th) with some flexibility based on skill level. Each day campers will go through warm up drills, stretching, ball drills, individual drills and 4 stations. After lunch, there will be lessons demonstrated by coaches and Marywood volleyball team members. Following the lessons, we will do team drills, run and explain game situations and finish with controlled scrimmages.
Girls Lacrosse Camp

This camp will focus on lacrosse skills with a lot of fun. Girls going into 5th-9th grade are invited for a three-day camp of instruction. We will develop stick work, dodging, individual and team offense /defense and include a scrimmage atmosphere by the end of the week. We will have daily competitions and a camper of the week giveaway. Mornings filled with lacrosse will be the best way to start your day. Each camper will receive a t-shirt and instruction from current college athletes and coaches. Girls lacrosse players are encouraged to bring their teammates and friends to enjoy three days of skill and development.
Boys Basketball Instructional Camp 1

Camp Fee: $190 (Early Bird Pricing until June 1st: $170)

The camp will be offered to boys 7-15 years old. Campers will be divided into groups based on age and ability. Each day, campers will go through a dynamic stretch, ball handling workout, six stations and one game set each morning. After lunch, there will be a lesson/skills clinic demonstrated by coaches and Marywood Men’s Basketball team members. Following the clinics, we will conduct a daily competition (Hot Shot, Free Throws, 1-on-1, etc.) and then complete at least 2-3 more game sets to conclude the day. The final hour of our day will provide a choice for campers to either swim or play in a supervised open gym. Dismissal from camp will be at 4 p.m. each day. We will invite parents to attend our awards ceremony on the last day of camp (Championship Friday). Each camper will receive a basketball, t-shirt, and top-notch instruction from our Marywood Men’s Basketball players and staff.

This is a four-day fundamental camp for girls in 2nd-8th grades. They will be divided into two groups (2nd-5th grade and 6th-8th grade), and will work on the necessary fundamentals to succeed on future competitive teams. Campers will be coached by college players and coaches from Marywood and the surrounding area. This camp is for players looking to enhance their fundamentals while also having fun! Lunch will NOT be provided. A concession stand will be available throughout the day.
Field Hockey Preseason Prep Camp

The Marywood Field Hockey Jr. High/High School Preseason Prep Camp is offered to girls entering grades 7-12. Campers will be split into Jr. High and High School groups to keep skill and ages appropriate. The day camp will consist of team warm up, preseason fitness, skill instruction, small sided games, and scrimmaging. Each camper will receive a pinnie. Awards for Jr. High Camper of the Week and High School Camper of the Week will be announced on the final day. The Marywood Field Hockey coaching staff will be conducting the camp.

This clinic will be offered to students in grades 9-12 who are interested in continuing their softball careers in college. Instruction will include hitting, fielding, baserunning and pitching. T shirt and campus tour included with pre registration. Instruction provided by Marywood Coaching Staff and student- athletes.
