Transferring to Marywood is ideal for students who want to make an academic change of some sort and for students who want to earn a four-year degree after completing a two-year degree. Regardless of the reason to are considering a transfer, Marywood is set up to make the process easy and rewarding.

Applying for Admission as a Transfer Student
The $35 application fee is waived when you submit through the Marywood online application, Common Application, or Apply Coalition with Scoir.

Marywood University welcomes the following students:
- Clarks Summit University students
- Cabrini University students
- College of St. Rose students
- Wells College students
- University of the Arts students
with a generous path to admission and enrollment. Students in good standing will be guaranteed admission to Marywood University with a tuition match. All previously completed credits that are applicable to Marywood University, including general education requirements, will be accepted.
All documents submitted in connection with the application become the property of the University.
A Fresh Start without Starting Over
Academic credits may directly transfer from colleges and universities depending upon their quality, comparability, and applicability to the student's program of study.
Marywood builds strong partnerships with community colleges and four-year institutions to provide a simple and smooth transfer process for students. These include local colleges such as Lackawanna College and Luzerne County Community College, as well as community colleges in New York and New Jersey.
Transfer guides and transfer agreements are available to assist students in determining how courses they have taken at local and community colleges will transfer to Marywood's undergraduate degree programs.
