Dr. Mona Arslan

Mona Arslan is an Assistant Professor since 2020 at AASTMT with a specialization in marketing. Interrogating the relationships betweenMarketing, Politics and New Media, for a decade has inspired her research for more diversified perspective of marketing. That work has been published in peer reviewed articles, blogs and tweets. She earned her Ph.D.in 2020 from the University of Hull,UK and obtained her Academic MBA in 2012 fromAASTMT, Alexandria, Egypt.In 2010, Dr Arslan was a Development Specialist at Indiana University Law LLM program jointly with Cairo University Faculty of Law and USAID. She is an alumnus of the Global Shapers Program and has attended three World Economic Forum meetings in China, South Africa and Jordan.Dr Arslan has taught different Marketing and Management modules for Roehampton University in the UK. Also, she has taught in dual degrees’ programs with AASTMT like that of Coventry University.

Formerly, she has assisted the Dean of the College of Management and Technology (Smart Village Campus) in public relations and communications. Also, she was amongst the founding team of the Media Management department in 2009. To date, Dr Arslan continuously conducts business consultancy and training to companies and entities in the Market. Living in a country fronting a major transition, Dr Arslan has an inside motive to continuously contribute to and witness a genuine change and mounting development to her homeland.

Accordingly, she advises multiple NGOs with regards to their corporate communication and social media strategy. Furthermore, she is a member of Rotary for more than 12 years. Specifically, she is a Past President and the Past Chairperson to the biggest Rotaract Conference. Currently working as an Assistant Professor and striving to participate in different developmental initiatives, Dr Arslan continues to agree that education and research are amongst the top priorities in the development of the community.
